Trunk Show - 2nd June

I am so excited. We are finally booked for our Trunk Show. Sue Daley from Patchwork with Busyfingers will be presenting her latest creations at Wyld Ivy Cafe at St Ives on the 2nd June. Have a browse through her latest book or marvel at the beautiful quilts filled with English paper piecing, embriodery and applique.

Happy Mother's Day

To all Mothers, grandmothers and steps mothers, I hope you have had a lovely day. I had a lovely sleep this morning - until 6:15. (Usually one of the two little alarm clocks has me up by 5:30).

We have had a lovely day with my family over in the morning and Steven's family is due tonight. Steve has made some wonderful dishes leaving me to relax (as much as possible with 2 small children).

In the shop this week we have been busy getting ready for Darling Harbour (and will continue doing so for the next month). We are thrilled to announce that Sue Daley from Patchwork with Busyfingers will be showcasing her latest creations at the stand.

I have started working on the project for the hand-on workshop she'll be running - English Paper piecing with a difference. I really enjoy it - it is so relaxing.

Show and Tell

We have been busy little beavers getting new quilts together. I (finally) finished my american primer quilt (above). It was areally fun quilt to make using the American Primer Jelly Roll and the wonderful border fabric.If you have any suggestions for names- let me know. I am just writing the instructions up for Country Threads now.

Judy finished not one but two quilts! These will be our new block of the month quilts. They are based on Marti MIchelle's Set B templates. They are the same bloacks made up in two different color ways. The first is called B'eautiful Garden and the Second one B' Wild.

We'll have them loaded up soon.
