Beach House Fabrics and Quiltaid 2010

The beautiful Beach House fabric from Robyn Pandolf has just arrived.

I just love these fabrics. It was all I could do to load them on to the web. I just wanted to sit down and start sewing!

Her ranges are just so lovely, soft and feminine.

There are seven lovely prints in the range in four lovely colourways: cream, green, blue and pink. Two rich large prints:

A medium print of scatter roses and a small roses print in each colour way.

There is also a pretty rose tone-on-tone and a lovely stripe that I think would be just beautiful in a baby's quilt.

Of course there is also the beautiful toile that is often featured in Robyn's ranges. These make such lovely backgrounds.
I could just sew with these fabrics for days. They are just lovely and the fabrics has the most wonderful feel to them. This lovely range has been chosen as the fabrics for the Quiltaid 2010.

Sue Daley and I have started planning the quilt already.

Our Latest Projects & A winner

We loved your ideas for our alphabet and animal panels. Thanks for posting them. Frou - we'd love to see your softie book. Please contact us though to shop to send us your snail-mail address.

Judy has been busy making a wonderful collection of quilts. Here is a fun bargello she made from the Citrus Jelly Roll.

Big Boy gave it the seal of approval.
He also took to the quilt she made from the Always in Bloom fabrics.
And here is a quilt top she is working on with some flannels we will be getting in February. Won't it be wonderful to snuggle under!
She has also been playing with the stripper templates by Marti Michell. Here is a table runner she is working on using the Wildflower Serenade II Jelly Roll.

I also finished off my Alliance Quilt. It was dropped off to Country Threads. It will appear in the kids edition in February. I took a photo half way through its creation. When I laid it out on the floor there was a race between Thomas and Big Boy to see who could claim it first. You can see who won!

Packing Away

Well our clearance sale is over. It was a wonderful three days. It is always lovely to see old customers and there were so many new people as well! Bargains all 'round I think. Look at all the bolt centres we have!

I guess we'll just have to get some more fabrics - in fact there is already a backlog to get loaded up as they came in during the sale.

Today was a such a lovely day - the beginning of summer. I had to take these pictures of Cameron before looping off all these curls.
