Fabric abounds

There has been masses of fabric arriving this week. The coordinating fabrics for the Heritage range came in. These are just divine reproductions from an Antique quilt.

The pretty Mary Rose Collection from Quiltgate would be just wonderful in the floral dreams quilt.


Recess and Portabello Jelly Rolls and Layer Cakes arrived. Less time cutting = more time sewing - Fun Fun Fun

Wonderful Wedding

Yesterday was such a fabulous day - it was Chris's wedding day! The weather was perfect, warm and summer.You couldn't have asked for better weather. We all went to her mothers at 8:30 and had a wonderful morning getting ready.

Spring Fresh

It has been a busy week in the store. We have been working on a new logo and layout along with some extra features. Wednesday morning was spent loading it all up and we have spent the rest of the week ironing the bugs out.

The new Robyn Pandolf range arrived in store. Every now and then you see a range so pretty yo want to gobble it all up like coconut ice. The last one we had was Nancy Halverson's Winsome Range. Robyn Pandolf's Sumptuously Living is just breathtaking don't you think?

On a Jelly Roll

Our Jelly Rolls have been tearing out the door recently. We have just launched our Jelly Roll club which has been very popular.


Chris and I spent Saturday loading up much of the new fabric on to the site, Beatrix Potter, Portabello Market and more of the ever popular cotton supreme.

We go live on the new website design tomorrow. I spent much of today updating the category images for the site and they will get loaded tomorrow along with the new logo and layout.

Boy oh Boy

It was such a lovely day on Monday, Cameron and I sat out in the Spring sun and worked on the American Primer Jelly Roll quilt.

Yesterday the Boy oh Boy fabric samples arrived. I have designed a very textural quilt based on these fabrics. I am keen to get started but there have also been a lot of fabric and patterns come in so I will have to wait until everything is loaded up. Chris will come over tomorrow and hopeful we will be caught up.

We have also been working on a new website redesign. We are adding a quilters question section so I have started writing answers for that. If you have any quilting questions, let us know and we'll see if we can answer it.

Sue Daley's new quilts arrived this week for photography. They are just beautiful with wonderful embroidery and paper piecing.


We will swap over to the new site next week. It will be great to get the new logo up.
