A Month in Reflection

Looking back on last month I can't believe how busy it has been. I have seen some of the most beautiful fabrics last month - a hint of what is to come with all the yummy Moda precuts:
  • Alliance
  • Authentic
  • Love U
    Mill House Inn
  • Old Primrose Inn
  • Nostaligia
  • Rouenneries
  • Simple Abundance
  • The Morris Workshop
  • Wisscasset
Our shelves are so full of these yummy treats.

We also has the yardage of Nostalgia and The Morris Workshop arrive and they have been flying out since they arrived.

The Quiltaid Bluebird of Hope has also been keeping us busy. We have sold over 150 blocks and 40 finishing kits. If you want to join us on this beautiful project - be quick. You can grab a contract to make sure the blocks are kept aside for you.

We also have over 40 people enjoying the pie and tart quilt - Judy spent a day selecting and cutting the fabrics for this delicious paper pieced quilt. You can also get just the pre-cut papers here if you want to get into your own stash.

This month has seen us re-stocking some of our favourites. Cotton Supreme white has come back in. It seems crazy that we should every be out of stock but every now and then there is a couple of months delay between ordering and it arriving. Cotton supreme is the same quality as the RJR patchwork print fabrics. It has a lovely dense weave and is beautifully soft. The difference between this and homespun is chalk and cheese! We have 74 beautiful colours in stock.

We have been lucky to have received Enchanted Rose from RJR on pre-release - it's not due for release until after the Huston Quilt Market. This is such a beautifully traditional range with soft roses and pretty stripes and tone-on-tone co-ordinates.

a good yarn said...

Well, wouldn't I love to have a layer cake or jelly roll in all of those lovely fabrics. I think your finishing kit for the Quilt Aid quilt is by far the best.
