Yummy yummy pre-cuts and so much more

Well it's been a bit like Christmas these past two days. Here is a photo of the latest lovely bundle to arrive from Moda (and I kept the four boxes for the children to play with!). So what arrived?Well the delicious fabrics and packs for Civil War Homefront by Barbara Brackman. I just loved this range. I had so many problems try to decide what to choose from the yardage.

We also have the pre-cuts for the next French General range - Rural Jardin. Inspired by fabrics of the French countryside, these textiles celebrate the agrarian life. The feature floral sprawls from a harvest cornucopia, complete with hoe and rake.

The Jacobean floral features a delightful song bird in the boughs of the floral vine. The centerpiece toile depicts everyday activities. The fabrics boast a weathered linen textural background as well as Kaari Meng's signature dotted selvage edge.

Also in the box(es) was the lovel Martinque from Three Sisters. These have a lovely sea-side feel to them.

Last Friday Judy ran a Patchwork Bag workshop. Look what Jan and Julie whipped up in the two hour class.

Here are their finished bags. This is the practical bag from Grand Revival. What a perfect Christmas gift!
Our next class with be the Eva Layer Cake quilt class in early January. This is a perfect mother daughter class. Both Eva and Cherish Nature would be great for teen quilts.
