Yes another delicious box of goodies arrived today. Firstly it has four more
Rural Jardin layer cakes and 4 more Jelly Rolls. Wow this stuff sold out so fast. If you still want one then don't delay! There was also some more yardage as so much has disappeared already.

I made my daughter a birthday shirt using the Soiree charm pack. I used different fabrics to cut a number 6 and the letters s, i, and x. I then used iron-on adhesive to attach them to a plain yellow shirt I found on clearance and did a satin stitch around the edges. She loved it! She gave me a big hug when she saw it and enjoyed wearing it at her birthday party.
Just LOVE any "Mary Rose" fabrics!
One of the neatest spring quilts I have done is to use the 'flying geese' block pattern; only make the geese one inch high and call them 'flying swallows'-so cute!

Well I have to tell you that my favorite thing to do is to stack them all up in plastic boxes and drool over them " dreaming of the next project to make! Does eye candy count as a project? Seriously I love making baby quilts with them. Linda
I love to buy beautiful fabrics but have to admire them for awhile, before I can bare to cut into them. That's the seeds from which my stash has grown! But at least with the pre-cuts, there isn't too much cutting required, so that saves me stressing toooo much. And with patterns made especially, the fun is ready to be had! No time wasting required.
And I do love the Cherish Nature quilt too!!

I have just recently been bitten by the quilting bug and am having a wonderful time checking out the various blogs for quilting. I think I have fallen in love with the moda charity collection - I just love the tonings.
I have been working with a couple of charm packs lately making a basic squares quilt with random ohio stars (made from stash fabric). It's been lots of fun..and really fast.
I've been making it for a prize for our local public school ball....hope it makes them a bit of money!

after I can take the courage to cut into the yummy charm squares, I like making bags with them.. sometimes chop them up more often than not I dont.. I loved the Rounierres (can't spell) but I am loving the new range as well :O)

One day I want to make a patch teddy bear out of some precuts. The charm packs are so inspirational that anything is posssible. Of course we have to sit and touch them for a period of time before we do something with them. Happy days.

I love charm packs, mixing up the squares and joining them. A quilt of squares is so simple, yet so very effective.
Like everyone else, I like to put them up on my shelf and gaze them them lovingly, for a while, before I get out my cutter. I'm thinking of making a set of placemats with little pockets for cutlery. A charm pack and some fabric from my stash and it should work like a charm :-D
There is a hidden star pattern in the layer cake,jelly roll and charm pack book by Pam and Nicky Lintott. I am making it out Glace by Moda using charm squares and a dessert roll of the solid colours to make the stars
I love the Busy Thimbles "Oh My Darling" pattern. It is so simple but so effective! It is the next one on my 'to-do' list with Frolic Charm pack and a stash of scraps!
I haven't done anything too exciting with my charm squares pack but I did make a christmas bag from the crazy eight range. It had a built in pocket on the outside that took me ages to work out how to do it. I was so pleased with the finished result. I don't care that it's not Christmas anymore as far as I'm concerned it's always coming up to Christmas.
I have a few more packs now, they are divine. Pls pop me in the draw.
I have just bought a pattern that requires a few charm squares, it is a pin cushion in the shape of a flower with all different coloured petals then it has a little basket attached to the bottom for all your threads, it is the cutest little thing. They would make fantastic pressies for all. I can imagine the "Mary Rose " fabrics would be just perfect for this weekend project.
I'l just have to keep mt fingers and toes crossed.
I am a bit of a hexagon addict and at the moment am dreaming of a pretty hexagon throw. Charm packs are great because I can have lots of different fabrics and can just manage to get 6 3/4" hexagons from one charm pack. I love the Mary Rose Collection because they are so pretty and the colours so soft.
