Some fabulous visitors

We've had a great week of visitors last week. First we had a machine quilting class. It was a lot of fun as we talked about backing, battings and started quilting. Then there was the sale on Thursday Friday and Saturday. It was wonderful to see everyone who came along. We had people come from as far away as Perth - here they are.

Dreaming of Paris

I know you all like it when your parcels arrive in the mail. We have the same thing when the deliveries arrive. Well today when I came back from the post office there were six huge parcels waiting for us.

When I opened them up what did I find but the pre-release of latest fabrics from Robyn Pandolf - Rue Saint Germain. I was hoping these would arrive before Darling Harbour so I was thrilled that they arrived so soon.

The fabrics are just magnificent. Four pretty toile fabrics, two magnificent cameo borders, four beautiful bouquet prints and such lovely co-orindates. I just wanted to start sewing!

Beautiful blues, roses, greens and a lovely latte colour - Oh they are so wonderful!

Two more quilts finished off

Here are two more beautiful lounge quits that Judy has done. The first is made up with the Mayfair flannels. It is so lovely and snuggly.
The scone one is Wild Poppies - a wonderfully bright quilt to cheer you through winter.

For the reproduction lovers

Our next quilt for Darling Harbour has come off the machine! It is a stunning queen bed Jelly Roll Quilt made from the Alliance fabrics. We were inspired by a antique dolls quilt and after a fun afternoon of designs (colouring in the squares in excel) we came up with this one. Judy then took it away and started sewing. It is quite a simple quilt to make and looks stunning!
This is the fabrics range that is raises funds for the Neonatal Emergency Transport service so you can feel warm and fuzzy just by buying the quilt!
